Frank Baillargeon, a 37-year photo industry veteran, has joined JONDO USA of Anaheim, California. Mr. Baillargeon will serve as President and Chief Revenue Officer, reporting to CEO and founder, John S. Doe.
“At this critical time in the consumer photo industry,” explains Mr. Baillargeon, “confident, capable and committed visionaries are required to shape the products and experiences of this exciting time. Our collective job is to insure that consumers will enjoy new generations of products that celebrate and preserve the most important moments in their lives. John Doe and his team at JONDO continue to demonstrate their commitment to product innovation, as well as industry-leading quality and timeliness. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to support JONDO as they continue to bring new life to a hungry consumer photo industry”.
Addressing the opportunity to welcome Frank Baillargeon into the JONDO family, Mr. Doe states – “Frank gets it. He knows why the photo products industry is exploding and how much retailers need to participate now. Frank’s deep experience in helping retailers discover and create mass markets is unprecedented. His passion is matched by JONDO’s experience and product development in the fine art reproduction market. People’s photos have become the new design and art form. JONDO empowers the most recent wave in purposing consumer imagery. Frank is the ideal leader to join us at this time of rapid growth and emerging opportunities. We have an enormous challenge to revitalize the retail photo industry and I simply could not do it without Frank”.
JONDO began in 1989 as Harvest Productions, in the three car garage of John S. Doe’s Anaheim Hills home. At that time, it utilized state of the art IRIS technology, to reproduce artist’s watercolor paintings. As years went by, the business grew, based on innovations in print technology. As an early developer of high resolution input, edit and output workflows, JONDO gained valuable experience. Quality was an industry requirement. That early desire to integrate a digital workflow has expanded to include direct internet uploading from transactional web applications and rendering software solutions. As JONDO continues the evolution of integration, it seeks to enhance the customer experience through unique products, easy on-line access and quick regional manufacturing/fulfillment centers. It intends to enhance the customer experience, while offering easily affordable products for the average consumer.
